Default slight "ticking" noise

I have a 2008 cbr600RR with about 8500 miles...however when the bike is running (even after being warmed up a ridden) I can hear a slight ticking sound coming from what I believe is the camshaft area. Should I be concerned about this? Or is it normal?

With so few mile on the clock I shouldn't think you have any camchain or tensioner problems. My 2002 CBR 600 is quiet with over 28,000 miles on it, but does 'tick' when warm. If you are concerned take it to a Honda mechanic for his/her opinion, but I'm pretty certain you've nothing to worry about.

Ocassionally I'll here a slight ticking and rattling here and there. Usually slight noises like that are common on engines. Especially when we are sitting right on top of them to hear every little noise. If it gets louder over time then might be something bad.
