Default Repairing rash?

Kinda searched around and didn't find anything specific. Layed my bike down in the school parking lot the other day (shoe string was caught around the shifter) and now I want to fix the little bit of rash.

I was told that bondo and the like wouldn't adhere properly to the plastic. So what do you all recommend I use, and any tips on doing the repair?

Thanks

Jonesy

I can't say anything about it... but this was recommended by another member. He was at a car show and they had a demo set up... might be worth checking into

No idea. If it isnt bad just fix it the redneck way by slapping a huge sticker over it. It will save you some money. I would talk to someone at a body shop about repairing plastic like that and see what they use. I know some cars these days have plastic fenders. (my trans am did) Open the phone book and I bet for about 10 mins invested you will find a very good answer.

If it's bad you can usually find the parts you need in your color scheme on ebay...for a fair price. I know for my bike it's cheaper to replace than repair because the factory stickers are about $80 a piece!

I've looked on ebay and the cheapest i can seem to find an undamaged side fairing is about $200 and up. I know that I can fix it for a lot less. I was planning on painting the whole bike anyhow so no stickers for me. Thinking gloss black with red tribals on the bottom, or a dark blue.

Quickest fix is the sticker method...but if the rash is too big...then go with the plastex.
