Default rear tire guard

hey I see that alot of people are taking off the plastic cover that goes over the chain and rear tire, I took mine off and wanted to know if there's a downside to doing this???

Chain lube on your jacket and pants.

you can go aftermarket... the stock one is kinda hokey. If you buy a wheel hugger they all have one built in, but yeah just take a look at the inside of the guard and you'd get a clear look at what you and your bike would be wearing.

I replaced the factory rear tire hugger with a CF one and it looks damn good.
