rattling noise

I have a 2001 F41 with about 13000 miles. I am getting a rattling noise when the bike is in gear after the engine revs. Any ideas?

+1 on CCT.....pull it out and move it back and forth thru it's range. It should be solid and steady with no back & forth play wherever it stops. Easy to remove/replace.

It is the the tip on the CCTL, go to the seach function, type in CCTL and just read a few of the posts that come up....the roll pin that holds on the tip of the CCTL allows it to vibrate and make that noise....it is not your cam chain slapping around....
