rattle
 

when ever i hit the gas, and sorry for asking but there is a rattle in the front part of the bike where the radiator is.... dont really kno whut it may be... any ideas?????

a friend of mine said that it might be the headers...he owns a kawa.... anything helps....

ok.. ok.. i dont whant yall to think that im a 'tard.....

i posted from a pc at work... so didnt have time to do a serch on the subject....
now siting at home, i see that the CCT is to blame for a rattling sound orround 4-5k...
....cbrforums allways helpfull....

i'll look into building me a new one......

Is it a rattle or a loud vibration type of noise? I get a type of noise too coming from the same area, but I know it's not the cct..At first I thought maybe like the air cleaner or something was vibrating at a certain rpm, but it seems to be the tank...Next time you hear the noise, stay at that rpm, then lean down on the tank and you'll see that the noise will change...It must be the mounts or something...WEIRD!
