Default RADIATOR FAN

I HAVE A 1989 CBR 600 , RADIATOR FAN IS NOT WORKING ! I HAVE NO ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE SO JUST WONDERED IF IT WAS A COMMON FAULT OR IF THERE IS A CHEAP FIX? Stuart

If you could find the electrical connection directly to the fan, you could jumper out the hot side with a fused wire. On my bike it's a 10 amp fuse, so I wouldn't go over 15. if the fan doesn't spin with direct power, then the fan is bad. if the fan does spin with direct power then you need to start looking at a temperature sensor or some other connection.
