Default Questions about radiantcycles moto GP exhaust.

I am looking into purchasing this exhaust for my bike. What sort of issues should i be looking for when I install this exhaust? And how can I fix them?

I bought mine from the same guy when he used to sell on Ebay. He is out of FL and works out of his garage. Not that it is big deal.

Issues:

1. Does not fit!!! I even send him an email before I purchased with the size that I need for my '01 F4i. He told me "No problem".

2. I did a lot of modifications to the new exhaust. Did not use the provided clamp because it was way too big. I bought a T-Bolt Clamp from www.smalltools.com, I also had to buy some gasket material to wrap around the header pipe to make a good seal so I would not experience any exhaust leak.

3. It took longer to tune the bike with the PCIII USB because there is not a specific map for this.

4. It is very loud! Very, Very Loud!!

5. I paid $ 59.00 with shipping from him on 02-13-09.

6. It took a total of 8 days for me to receive my order after he got his money. Shipped via USPS. It should have only taken 3 days after payment.

7. I would never buy from this guy or recommend him to anyone.

8. Since I live in CA my Yoshimura TRS Tri-Oval that I had on there had a O2 Sensor that I had to remove and then buy the O2 Sensor Bypass for get rid of the FI light.

This is only my opinion and my experience. I hope you have better luck. If you do get one, please take it to a muffler shop and have them mount it.

This keeps coming up all the time about this pipe

I bought this exhaust last year and love it.

From what the other post says i received mine in 3 days.
The clamp fit perfect on my headers
and yes it is loud
As far a going to a muffler shop, that is a little crazy
if you know how to use a ratchet and socket then
your fine.

The part about tuning is expected since it is a non name brand
pipe. But my bike is not injected so a stage 1 jet kit and two hours tuning
got my bike perfect. Runs amazing sounds amazing, end of story.
