Powdercoat or Anodize stock rims ?

I'm doing a rc51 sp1 wheel swap to my cbr 954.

I received the rims today and not sure if its possible to anodize the rims?

Powder coat or paint them gloss black. Use some white rim tape if you want to give it some definition. That's what I think anyway.

Rims get very dirty, very quickly. Any color other than black will look filthy after every ride.

I'd vote for PC. Anodizing will show any imperfections in the rim. PC won't (since it's thicker). As they're older rims with miles on them - PC will probably last longer and won't have uneven coating

Demon is absolutely right with regards to cleanliness. You can imagine what the chain lube does to the rear wheel. And as you get some miles with your brake pads, you'll get brake dust everywhere. Wiping down the main parts of the rim are not hard, but its the nooks-and-crannies where stuff black gunk will stick, especially on the front as it'll be hard to get to all of them with the 330mm discs.

I had orange PC'd rims on my "repsol" 954 - it looked great when clean. It depends on what you like to do. I don't having to clean my bike.
