I have a full Akrapovic exhaust system but I want to cut the pipe down cause it looks odd on the bike. So if I cut it down will it damage the performance of the bike? and will it affect the power commander?

 

what bike and how much are you planning on cutting off? Someone on this site cut about an inch off a Yosh RS-5 (I think) to line it up better under the tail of his 600RR. Downloaded maps from dyno jet are just the bike with that exhaust on it. The best way to tune your bike with the PC it to go to a good dyno and have them custom make you a map. Depending on how much you cut off it could effect performance. ie..back pressure.
