Default PCIII question

Just bought a PC3, hooked everything up, plugged it on the negative on the battery.
.....No power when I turn the key.
What did I do wrong?

Nope, I checked the fuses and they're all good. I took the PC3 off and hooked the original plugs back up and she started right back up.
I was thinking: Is the small black wire supposed to go to the battery or just to a bolt on the frame in order to be grounded?

granted the ground wire from the neg battery to the frame is tight and in good shape

So either way would be a valid choice. I think I just got a "F"d up PC3. Damn I'm pissed.

Is there no power to the bike? or no power to eh PC3? Did you hook up the connectors to the proper throttle bodies? Try hooking it up and instead of connecting to the bike battery, use a 9 volt with the adapter just to see if the PC's getting any power.

Yeah there's power. When I turned the key, the lights and the ECU came on. But the fuel injection didn't kick in. The PCIII didn't even blink and my bike would crank when I pushed the ignition switch.
