Default Paint pattern?

I've been workin on converting my bike from the black with minor red accents over to black with green accents. I have a lime green paint (like Monster) that i plan on using on all the fairing bolts, pegs, heel guards, and two-toning the rims. I cant decide, however, how i should add to the fairings. I know what i would like to do, but it's intense art/airbrush work that i dont have the skill/money for so unfortunately it's not an option. Any ideas for simple lines? Or tribals perhaps? I have an 02 F4i. Also, any tricks on grip removal? or will it always be a complete pain in my a$$?

I saw some pics of a custom paint job on another board the other day with fading red to black colors in various places. It really looked nice.

Cut the old grips off. Coat the end of the clip-on and the inside of the grip with hair spray then slide the new grip on as fast as you can. Make sure it is straight because the hair spray will stop you from being able to adjust it after a couple minutes!

Grip removal: I wiggled a thin screwdriver under the rubber and then squirted some brake cleaner fluid in the gap. In a few seconds the glue dissolved, I wiggled the screwdriver around the rest of the grip to make sure it was all loose and it pulled right off.

That technique is probably better if you plan on re-using the old grips. Otherwise, just cut them off.

If you've got a compressor, use a blower under the edge of the grip. you can pop em loose if you want to save them.

The hairspray thing works, too, by the way.
