VTR V-twin,VFR v-four.VTR great for racing or canyon riding.VFR great at everything.

so the vfr is a better overall bike while the vtr is a race bike? also the vtr in my area has something wrong with the timing? the vtr is about 800 less

2000 vtr=$2300
cam is out of time and needs carbs tuned
2000 vfr=$3200
no mechanical problems

If you are looking for low end torque then go with the vtr. It isn't a race bike by any means. The vfr is more of a sport touring bike.

I would go look at them and then decide.
