Default No spark on 94 cbr900rr

I have a 94 cbr900rr, bought it from guy that I got it running for last year. It hasn't been on road but someone has done something to it because the wires coming from start and kill switch don't hook up to nothing. I can't find where they would hook up. I think that's why it's not firing. Can anyone tell me where there supposed to hook up. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. Can you post up some photos of the wires you're referring to? Might make it easier for people to help.

I finaly bought the Urban Tiger yesterday !
Now i have to go back 400km to Paris hoping it won't rain as i was late to catch the train yesterday and forgot my rain clothes ! Stupid me !
I only have my motorcycle leather jacket ( the vibtage style one, Segura ( with no collar , black with some white stripes like the vintage ones ) and some Chippewa 27863 Engineer Boots with Steel Toe ; with a pair of blue jeans ( not the best if it rains ...) .

Have fun and ride safe. I don't think that back wheel is going to be so clean after you ride 400km with all the lube on the chain.

It was not so dirty !
i will take a look but i didn't see much dirt on it .
Anyway i am not as obssessed to keep my bike clean as the previous owner but i am more obssessed with doing on it all what's need to be done as maintenance ; for me that ´s much more important !
So next week i will bring it to my Kawa dealer's chief of workshop , for he does all what's need to be done and check if everything is fine .
Unfortunately i don't have a place where incan work on my bike , nir all the tools needed but i'd like ro learn ro do it all by myself .
The clutch handle stroke is really short , the seller told me,it was because of the wire , so i bought a new one to have it replaced if needed.
the Brake handle stroke is much too long, you have to press it much before it starts to brake and i have been told it could be because the brake fluid bleeding has not been done properly ., so i will have it done correctly and replace the hoses with Avia ones , replace air filter , oil filter and drain the engine oil .
Also, try to have the switch between main beam and dipped beam repaired , or try to buy another one if it can't be but i looked on the internet and could not find one to buy in good shape , as they are not sold new anywhere anymore !
And have an overall check to see it everything is fine !
For me, doing that when it needs to be done is much more important than spending all my sundays cleaning the bike although it is always nice to have a clean motorcycle but no the most important .

I look for a front wheel in 17" that is compatible , to have access to much more tire choices ( although it has some nearly new S
21 battlax Bridgestone at the moment ) i read i could use :VFR 750 RC36/2 From 1994-1997

CBR 600 F 1995-1996 F3/ 1 ? Type PC31
