Default No fuel pump

Hi there people
Ive just got a 2001 Blade witch has not run for 9 months because he stopped at the petrol station and then it would not start.

It turns over and sparks but there is no fuel ? ive put a new battery on there plus new plugs. Ive removed the tank and removed the pump to get all the old fuel out. There is battery voltage to the fuel pump wire but nothing else.
There was a Datatag alarm on there but the wiring and connections were terrible so I removed it.

The chap I got it off told me there was a diode I needed to order this controls the pump and priming .... so ive got that from David Silver Spares but when I got it its like a very small blade fuse with 3 pins god knows were this goes

anyone with any ideas ?

There is that type of diode in the fuse box. Put the new one in and try it. If that doesn't fix it, we can help you trace the fuel pump circuit.

Ok so i fitted the diode and switched the ignition on and the pump buzzed once ?

Ok so i checked the pump plug before the join and ive got battery voltage to both the wires so i checked after ive connected the plug and only one wire has battery power so tomorrow im going to put a new plug on. If its ok i will pop the pump back on the tank and try it out ....

The brown wire with the black stripe is for the fuel level sensor.

Have you tried jumping the BAS? Connect the two outside wires on the harness together. The fuel pump circuit runs through it. It will kill the pump with no FI code set.

Bank angle sensor. Commonly known as the tip over sensor. On the 01 blade it's underneath the fuel tank on the rear tank bracket. If you lift the tank a bit, you can get to the connector to bypass/test.

Now im really confused ...... got the pump on the bench. Ive got a battery but the side of it connect the green earth to the - and the brown only (pump live) to the + and the pump runs ok great

Move the pump to the bike and using a fly lead connect the up to the new battery on the bike and again the pump runs ...

Ok so im getting battery voltage out of the brown on the fuel pump wire in the loom so connect that up and the green for earth and nothing ?

The tilt sensor works so whats going on ?????
