New fuel pressure regulator not sealing?

New fuel pressure regulator not sealing?
I'm changing out the fuel pressure regulator on my F4i. I just installed the regulator and tightened it down pretty good. But when I fired up the bike there was fuel spraying from the sides of the regulator. So I tightened the bolts a little more... still leaking fuel!
Any suggestions on why it isn't sealing or how to get it to seal better? I got this regulator from this guy who is parting out his bike... so it might not be in the best of shape. If the contact surface of the regulator wasn't completely clean maybe that would cause it to leak?

RE: New fuel pressure regulator not sealing?
Yep, brake clear works fine, but I would shoot it onto a rag first so you don't get it everywere when you spray it.
You might get lucky at an autoparts store, but just make sure the o-ring is safe for use with gas. Personally I would get one from a dealer (probably have to order it), that way you know it's the right one.
