i just replaced my friction plates and now my clutch wont fully disingauge. it will shift to all the gears but it feels and sounds like the clutch is half way pulled in i ajusted both places on the clutch wire.. and no luck. also the clutch wire is a little bit fraided... could it be that spring on top of the right crankcase? any ideas?

Did you soak your new plates in oil before you assembled it? Also if your cable is frayed replace it.

If your cable is frayed, it's probably stretching, and also probably about ready to break.
