New chain whines - CBR F4 (99)
Hi,
Recently I replaced my chain and sprockets. DID ZVMX 525 Gold + Front sprocket -1, and rear +3 (JT). On the way home I noticed a high pitched whine when I ride, louder when I accelerate. It starts about 30mph and gets higher as I go faster. It's only when I ride and doesn't matter which gear I'm at.
Chain- DID ZVMX 525
Front sprocket: JTF1370-15
Rear sprocket: JTR1304-47

Here's what I did so far:
- Chain is lubed and the tension is ok (as suggested by honda)
- Rear wheel is well alligned
- Replaced all rear wheel bearings
- Replaced the front sprocket to Sunstar 41115 (also -1)
- My friend has the same CBR so we replaced the whole rear whell with sprocket and axle - still whines.
The last option I can think of is the chain itself. Is it normal?
