Default Need tech info on TPS for f4i 2001

I am building quite the project and the tps on my f4i engine is in an angle that I cannot use... is there another TPS that would fit there that would send the same voltage/signal that I could use instead? or one that would be as flat as possible? because right now, it hits the frame that am I putting it in. thank you guys! hope someone here can help me because so far, no one seems to be able to find a solution.

They're made to be pretty compact. How far are you out? Are you within 'sledgehammer the frame to make it fit' distance? If it's steel, you can always reach for a grinder/welder instead

Could try and fit a different set of throttle bodies, but that's probably just as tricky. I'd look at bending the frame if possible

What are you shoehorning it into?

I'd say off enough to have to make a notch on the frame, which is something I REALLY wanted to avoid...

putting it in a honda cb-1 frame.

do you think I could melt it so as to make it go in a better angle, that way it could fit!

or is it interchangeable? i'm guessing it's impossible to bypass...

thanks!

If you're close enough that you can shave or melt it a bit to get it to fit I'd say go for it. I've never opened one of them up to see what's inside, but I'd bet it's got a small circuitboard next to the plug, so something to be aware of

That sounds like a sweet build though. You should start a thread and throw up some pics
