ok i bought a 98 cbr f3. dude said it ran 8 months ago when he park it. so i get it and no power. the bat was dead so i charge it and still no power. i found out the main fuse was blown so i put a 30 amp back in it and the regulator start to smoke and blows that fuse. so i put a new fuse in and unplug the regulator and the bike starts up. and im all happy let it warm up with the charger still on bat and i take it off ride it down the street it dies. and dose so every time. so i took a metter to the bat and its not holding a charge once the charger is off the bat. so i want to know is to do need a new bat would the bike still hold a charge with out the regulator coneted? and what is causin this? help
