my bike fell over
My bike fell over in the garage and I don't know how long it was on it's side it could have been days. Is there anything i should do befor trying to start it, also it started to leak coolant maybe the overflow lid was not on tight enough. any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

Hey Paul, I'd sugest topping off the coolant, checking oil level and attemp start up. The CBR is a tough bike, good to the last drop. Be aware of any fuel leaks or other places where it may have been dammaged. Good Luck.

If it's been laying on its side for days you're prolly gonna need to do more than hit the starter. Open the airbox before trying to start it and that'll give you an idea what kind of time you're in for.
If you got fluids up in there, you're in for some cleaning |
no fluids in the air box, and the bike started right up! I love my cbr

Heh, lucky. Mine whined and coughed like a lil ol lady when she 'rested' for less than 3 min

Yeah, I can't believe it fired right up. At the very least I figured she would've been hard starting and smokin' like a beeatch.
I would have been hesitant to even try without checking the cylinders first... Glad it's all good, tho... :) |
