Never tried it but I use, as well as a few other on the forum, T-Rex stands off ebay. $105 shipping for front and rear stands that are fully adjustable. Look into them, they are by far the best stands you can get for the price. I'll but them up there with pit-bull stands anyday.

i never heard of them, but i'm sure they'll be fine. they don't need to hold up a small sedan (like the pitbulls are engineried for), just the rear end of a motorcycle. if you had a chop saw and a welder, you could probably make your own or about $3

I have a Lockhart Phillips for the rear and I like it a lot. For the front I have a Black Widow off eBay and while it works as it should, it does not compare in quality to the LP I bought. The LP was purchased for $90 though on sale and the BW was $70 including shipping, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Dude you rock, I've been looking for a nice set of cheaper priced stands, those look perfect and are priced awesome. I think I'll be buying a set tomorrow just in time to use while I'm away on my 2 week honeymoon

I have front and rear pit bull stands, things are pretty much bullet proof.

I have the Vortex stands, i almost got the Pitbull's because of all the good things i have heard about them, but a local retailer offered me a very good deal on the Vortex's. I am very pleased with them, very solid and easy to use, rear handle comes off with a button release also if you want it out of the way quick. I would recommend them for a midpriced stand.

+1 for the vortex stands...though i'm sure most of them, if they look sturdy they should be able to do the job
