Default Mixture adjustment

I have a carb version of the CBR600F /T, I need to adjust the pilot air screws and they seem impossible to get at, particularley the centre & right hand side carbs. What is the easiest way to get at these, I need to weaken the mixture by a half turn

Cheers

Default RE: Mixture adjustment

There is a pilot screw wrench... the one that honda sells i think is over 100$ but there are generic ones that are just a small flathead with a 90 degree turn at the end of a long shaft. you have to try different angles but the one i use is on the left side (hard to explain but it is possible to get at them all with that one spot. if you want to do things right u are suppose to have ur carbs synched before u do this and you are suppose to get something to read your rpms more accuratley and you adjust it within 50RPM's but what I did is just while the bike is off I used my generic pilot screw wrench and I couldnt really see the screw being turned so I waited to see the screw driver seat in the slot and then I could hear the screw turn a little bit... sounds like a squeaky door (really soft sound though)
