Default Making sure your bolts aren't loose.

Does anyone know which bolts are the main ones that possibly could come lose? I am going to give my bike a once over on my next chain lube/ bike wash and want to know which ones specifically to check.

I have an F3 and haven't ever had a problem with bolts coming loose or falling off. The only things I check every once in a while are the radiator clamps and the intake boots in between the carbs and head. I always go over the bike when I have been working on to make sure I haven't missed any bolts... surprised myself a few times and missed some. I tightenbolts to their torque specs and on some I just use PFT. I know the statement is a little ambiguity. But if you tighten the bolts down correctly and double check your work, you shouldn't ever have a problem.

I noticed my clutch felt loose and I look down and found the screw was about to pop out

This is the chrome one that holds the clutch lever in

I check a lot of things every weekend, including bolts and screws for everything that I can reach.

I lost my shift lever pivot bolt on a ride about a month ago. That really sucked! I had to ride home 50 miles in 3rd gear. I put Loctite on the new one when I installed it.
