Default Leovince exhaust for a (Repsol 1000RR)

I just had a shop put on a new full header Leovince Exhaust with PCIII and air filters. The exhaust had melted right through the lower casing. The shop is going to fix it, but now they are trying to stier me away from the Leovince exhaust to another full system. My question is does anybody else with the Repsol have a Leovince exhaust or is having exhaust prolblems melting the lower case?????

There is heat shielding you can find that will tape to the the area you need it to protect. In one of the threads they showed the coverage area and name of the product but I haven't a clue where it is.
