Default LED indicators wiring help ??????????

Hi i have a 99 CBR 900 RRX im trying to wire in some rear led indicators but keep blowing the fuse, i have also bought two resistors to go with them. Im not sure which wires connect where, the indicators have 1 yellow wire and 1 black wire each, the resistors have 2 blacks at 1 end and 2 yellows at the other and the bike wiring loom has 1 blue and 1 green for the right signal and 1 orange and 1 green for the left signal.I will try and add some photos any help would be gratefully accepted.Name: 2013-07-06182240_zpsbb65bf64.jpg

Try WITHOUT the resistors first.

TEST the led's first on a 12v battery to see if they are good ( light up )
Take note of which wire goes to positive (RED) and which goes to negative (black)
If the above is good and the led's are working

Then

Looking at those wires - the greens on the bike loom are earth - the orange and blue wires are positive for left and right

SO

Connect one of the positive led wires to the blue wire
Connect the other positive led wire to the orange wire

The two unmarked led wired go to the green wires.

now it should work but the indicators will flash too fast.

I would get an led flasher unit rather than mess around with resistors.

Thanks for the reply ive done what you said and they are working and like you said too fast. The reason i didnt go down the route of getting a flasher relay was i couldnt find mine its either been moved or removed altogether, so im stuck with resistors. Just not sure how to wire these up any ideas ?

If the signals are flashing then there's a flasher relay on the bike somewhere. An electronic flasher relay that works with LED signals is around $9 from Super Bright LEDs.

Been looking at those resistors and I think I have worked out how they should be wired.

The two wires on each side of the resistor are what confused me. it looks like they have provided both types of connector for you to choose from.

Use only one wire on each side of the resistor - the resistor goes in between the led wire and the orange or blue wire.
The extra wire on each side of the resistor is not used. ( wrap it with tape or cut it off and wrap the remaining end with tape.

I would still go with an led flasher unit instead of the resistors - much easier and safer system.
