Leather jacket care
What is a good way to clean all the bugs off of your leather jacket? I sometimes use a damp rag and it works fine, butisnt water damaging to leather? Is there a leather cleaner for jackets that wont make them super slippery or shinny? I dont think that using the stuff for my leather seats would be such a good idea!

I use saddle soap for serious dead bugs, the kind that feel like bullets when they go "blat" on your leathers.
You can use a moistened sponge, saddle soap adds things to the leather as well, won't dry it out.
OK old joke Question: "Wots the last thing to go through a bugs mind as it hits your visor"?
Answer: "Its bum".

I use leather cleaning/conditioning wipes from Wilson's Leather. They work well, and don't make the jacket look like it's been cleaned with armor all, not to mention it's quick and easy. But +1 for the saddle soap for serious bug guts.
