kickstand question
 

i have a 97 f3 that i purchased a month ago and the kickstand switch is backwards, meaning the sidestand light come on when its up and goes off when its down. does nebody know how to reverse this? thanks

Kind of odd... does it look like it's been modified? Like maybe someone used a switch from a differrent year? I looked at the manual for mine and it fits on one way. It has a slot that it seats into. Check to see if your's is the same and make sure it's in the slot. Other than that... I'm lost.

everything looks normal to me but i was just wondering if maybe the wires got crossed somewhere. i wouldnt really be worried about it but i put a trunk kit on it and the kickstand has to be down to open it and with the problem i have now i have to have the kickstand up to open it
