Default Instr Panel Help

Dudes;

I need your help pls for my 03 954RR.
For the 1st time yesterday, when I turn the key the trip meter and clock were reset to 0. I check the bat terminals all is nice and tight. Everything works it just keeps reseting back everytime I turn it on and off.
It's been suggested that my bat is about to take a dump. Any ideas?

Tx

Does it start without a problem? Bad battery will usually tell you by not starting the bike.

Check your fuse's, It has a fuse labeled (clock or Ins) this is the memory fuse for the instruments.

This fuse only controls the memory for the speedo clock and trip. This is why the bike runs fine and everything works once you turn the key on and start it up.

For who's interested prob fixed. There are two plugs for the main wiring harness where the right fairing and upper come together ( by the radiator cap ). You're looking for the red/green wire. There should be some corrosion, touch the wire and it will come loose. Repair and voila, working again. Tx folks.
