What do you need? You need to remove the plastic so you can get to the back side and take the stock lights off. It's easier than it sounds.

I'm a dummy. I guess that's what I meant by needing help. How do I take the front off. I removed every bolt and every piece of hardware that seems to be holding the plastic, including mirrors but I still can't get it off. What am I not seeing? Thanks

You're not a dummy... a dumb *** would have ripped it all off in pieces and came here asking where to buy cheap plastic.

Ok, so you have all three hex screws on each side, then you remove the plastic rivets that hold the inner covers on and they snap loose from the tank. You have, I believe, three, maybe four plastic rivets on the inside area near your front fender that hold the vent ducts in place. Remove those. Your mirrors are you main/strongest mounts. After the mirrors are off pull up slightly to clear the brackets. Then you go to the front and pull straight forward. There are two pins/post near the head light. Then you have the wiring/plugs to deal with. You have enough room to leave them connected if you like. I use a towel and a sponge on my fender to rest the plastic on so I can do the work.

Hope this makes sense... If not, I'm standing by for a few minutes for you.

Sorry man, had to go for a bit. I'm about to try it now. It already makes more sense. I guess it sounds like I have to do both sides at the same time. I was trying to do one side at a time...DUH! How much flexing can this plastic take? I'm afraid of pushing and bending to much. My bike was ran over while parked a few months ago and had $3700 in damage for what seemed to be only scratches. So I know how expensive these plastics are. Thanks again for the help and I apologize for not respomding right away.

I did it!!! Thank you for the tip. I would've never figured out to lift up a bit before pulling it off. I also had a few of those plastic rivets to go that I had'nt seen under the headlights. Muchas Gracias!

Great... I'm glad you got it. What flush mounts did you go with? Post some pics when you have time.
