Default Injectors

2001 cbr 600 f4i
Fuel pump kicking on got fuel at rail used node light getting pluse at injectors then put another set of injectors on it. If I spray starting fuel it starts and revs but when pump kicks on no spray. Using starting fuild I can rev and see injectors spraying and when cranking motor over I have throttle open and injectors spray. My problem is they don’t spray during prime and apparently not enough gas when reving any one run across this before or know fix thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. See if you can get a fuel pressure gauge on it to ensure you're getting the proper pressure. It should be 50 PSI for the F4i.

If you find that the pressure is too low, it could be a result of the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Probably a less expensive part to replace than the Fuel Pump itself.

Sharder valve on test gauge wasn’t opening so I took it out I got 5 lbs of pressure and dropped off so bike runs with starting fuild til burns up it must not be getting enough fuel and gauge shows 5 lbs so guess I’m replacing fuel pump. I guess just because it kicks on don’t mean it’s always getting pressure u need. If something else I’ll post. Thanks

Well I figured out what it was I pulled the fuel pump blew out the filter and noticed the 1 in piece of fuel tubing was spilt I peeled back and seen hole in line. The line had gotten very soft and weak I replaced fuel line on pump reinstalled and dump gas in it and fired right up. Want to thank everyone getting me headed in right direction now to put it all back together

That's great news man. How do you think the hole got in it? Previous owner or someone working on it before? Just age?
