topspeed for sprocket
Whats up guys I'm new to the forum, my name is Daniel.
I have a 16t 45t setup, I know stock is 16,43, my question is
how much of my top speed is lost with the mod? I have a 2000 R1,
I know I'm on the CBR site, but I cant post on the Yamaha site
and the Honda uses the same chain sprockets.

RE: topspeed for sprocket
goin up 2 in the rear will drop top speed a little but not much. have you ever had it to top speed before the sprocket change? if so then you'll probably top it out with the new sprocket and will be able to answer your own question. if you haven't with the stock sprockets then I don't understand why you're concerned with what it'll be now, since you probably won't have a need to go that fast (170+). on a side note, if you do decide to go warp speed please do so on a track.
