Default I hate to ask, but...

Do any of you have an idea of what this might be?
I don't think it would just be F4i specific.

The 12v plug came on the bike when I got it, and right below it there is a small **** with a led right below that and I have no idea what it goes to.

I just assumed it was to adjust the heat on the heated gloves he gave me but when I went out to check the bike after it stopped raining I noticed that the led is red and keeps blinking but I can't turn it off, I've never seen it on before ever.
I have never seen it on before and can't really test the gloves with it 100* outside.
I'm going to try and follow the wires if I can get to them tomorrow and am not sure what to look for right now, any guesses appreciated.

I'll probably HGTD once I figure it out.

I didn't think of that, I feel like the guy would've said something about it having an alarm though.

A power outlet for a navigator? If it`s hooked straight to the battery without going through the ignition it`s always on.
Is the socket a standard cigarette lighter socket?
