i recently purchased a 2000 929. at first it was working fine. last week i noticed on my way home that it cut off twice as i idled red light came on and i beleive the code was L1. the bike started up i drove home and it was fine. yesterday i go to start the bike, as its warming up it cuts off. i start it it cuts off again. i start it and try to ride i get 4 blocks and it cuts off and battery dies out. i push bike bake home. went to the bike shop to see if charging system was working properly they told me it was. the bike worked fine for the whole day did about a hundred miles on it. then i get ready to take my girl to work and it cuts off over and over again. i parked it in the nearest parking garage and jumped in a taxi. does anyone have any clue what my problems can be. major or minor..... maybe electrical or spark plugs? i noticed teh problem after i popped a few wheelies also... can this have something to do with it... i am a begginned and they dont come up or come down to easy...... please help..... nice weather is here and my bike is not safe to ride.

 

check all your connections...first the battery terminals. then we'll go from there.

do not do wheelies as a noob...practice some braking and throttle control first.
