Huge Carb/ Gas problem

I just picked up a 98 F3 from a guy who let it sit for almost a year. It cranks over strong but it won't fire right up. I cleaned the air filter, fuel lines, and fuel pump. When I tried starting it without the airbox on it I noticed that in the number 3 and number 4 carbs one of the jets is spitting gas out the top of it. My bike will fire up for about 5 to 10 seconds before dying out. I pull the plugs everytime it shuts off and they are drowned in gas. When the bike does fire up and then dies there is a large amount of fuel that pours out of the overflow line. As you can see with these problems I cannot ride. Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

carb float could be stuck, try tapping on bottom of carb(float bowl)

thanks man but I tried that. I am still having the same issues and without the know how of taking the carbs off the bike I think I will just have to take it to the shop for the fix.
