It might be easier to use your trip meter (I'm not sure if these bikes have one or not) on your odometer to calculate your approximate miles per tank of fuel and then just reset it every time you get gas. When I switched from the F4i to the 954 I lost my fuel gauge [sm=smiley6.gif], so now I just reset my trip meter every time I get gas and I know how many miles I can get before my low fuel light comes on. Just another option rather than trying to rig up a fuel gauge!

i have a fuel level gage on my CBR600RR and i don't even rely on it. i always go by milage. it's a hell of a lot more reliable.

i want one as well but after running out of gas the other day, putting it on reserve, and getting to the gas station to fill her up. i dont think i need it.

it just it would be nice to know when its going to happen. but its not necessary.
