Try to pop through clutch.
1. You to this by putting the kickstand up,
2. turn key to on position,
3. set to run on your starter,
4. hold clutch,
5. rock forward and put into 1st or 2nd gear,
6. Sit on bike or stand to side,
7. Move forward and start pushing bike as you move keeping clutch in
8. When moving at about 3miles an hr, let go of clutch and bike should start.
9. Hold clutch in as bike starts so you don't lose it. Plenty of videos on YouTube.
Try this. I had the same issue on my 94 900rr. Changed battery, and runs like a champ now.

Did you fully charge your new battery before you installed it? If not, it probably wasn't charged up enough. A clicking starter relay usually indicates that the battery hasn't got enough power to turn the engine over even though the starter turns easily off the bike. Give the battery an overnight charge and make sure you get 14.5 volts at the terminals before trying to start again. If you can jump start the bike from another good battery with jump leads, then that would indicated your new battery needs a good charge up. Many people assume that a new battery is fully charged when they buy it and sometimes they are; somtimes they are not.
