Your headlights are always on, or at least, they're supposed to be.

Hi Chris, you live in the UK?

Where do you feel the juddering? Through the bars or somewhere else and is it a judder or a splutter?

Might help us to help you if you post up a little info, like where you live (a country will do), what bike you're riding and how long you've been a rider.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

hi yer live in uk suppose it is more of a splutter when pull throttle bk when initially pulling of doesnt happen when the lights are off and soon as switch them on it starts been riding a month 2000 honda cbr 600

have you checked your battery, it sounds as if power is being taken from the ignition side when the lights are put on causing a splutter, I am no electrical guru but I would check the battery, then the charge going to it, then check all the earths and connectors to start with, no doubt an electrical guru will be along to help

will try new battery

before you fork out for a new battery, just check the one you have with a multi-meter and check the charge going to it first before you spend out, my advise would be check the voltage going to the battery at about 3000-4000 rpm then turn the lights on to see how much the voltage drops.
