i'm looking to put a different can on my 2001 f4i. my buddy said he'd give me a two brothers racing pipe off of his 2003 r1 (just the can) i'm just wondering if this will fit on the pipe.. or if it won't how i can (if i can) make it fit..

any help would be awesome guys

 

Youll have to weld a new midpipe on but the packing and pressure will be off a bit considering its off a completely different manufacture let alone class of bike.

 

Measure your mid pipe. if its the same dia., you should be good to go.The mid pipe on my wifes old R6 and new ZX6 are the same dia. as my friends 03 R1. In fact, the mufflers were the same mufflers.

 

the mid pipe and the muffler pretty much butt up against each other. so it seems all i would need would be a coupling or a connector. can i do that? or are they avalible or does it have to be welded.??
