HELP 2007 Honda cbr1000rr Idles low and will not rev
Hello everyone I have a 2007 Honda cbr1000rr with 10k miles.after I removed the rear wheel to get it balanced and installed everything back I let it warm up on the rear stand I turned it off to take it off the stand after that it didn’t want to idle or rev it will bog usually. To be honest I don’t think removing the rear wheel has anything to do with this.sometimes the bike won’t even start. It is idles low too and usually stalls.I replaced the spark plugs at 8k.this bike did sit for 5 years I replaced the fuel pump and it has been great since. This happen out of no where too I did a 70 miles ride the day before without issues. Also there a strong smell kinda smells like gas.Where should I start from.
Your stories have a habit of going a bit "sideways".
You're right, removing and installing the rear wheel won't affect idle - assuming that's all you did. Are you sure you didn't tip the bike upside down, hit it with a hammer, remove something else at the same time?
Focus on the fuel smell - you had a nightmare putting your fuel pump together earlier this year - go looking for where the gas is leaking from.
Don't let your friend who messed up the spark plug at the bike!

check MAP-sensor vacuum hose.
Measure MAP-sensor voltage-output at idle and 3000rpms. volts1=??? volts2=???
Its signal may be incorrect and is tricking ECU into thinking load is higher than actual and results in too much petrol being injected.
