Default help

i just bought an 01 f4i and when i start it up it wont stay running. i have to hold down the throttle till it get to about 155 on the temp. any idea what th problem is?

Have you tried turning the throttle idle adjusting screw, which is down on the left hand side of the bike? Turning it clockwise will increase the idle speed. Keeping the throttle open until the temperature reaches such a high temperature shouldn't be necessary. There are so many sensors in the fuel injected system that it is hard to diagnose exactly what could be the problem. Maybe other members will respond and offer their advice.
