Might be a loose connection somewhere.

Either a short somewhere or your stator may be crappin out. If the rectifier is dying, it may do the same. check your unplug your rectifier to make sure your plug isnt getting too hot. It will have started to melt if it has.

RE: headlights go dim while driving they dim in and out

cant figure out why my lights are going dim think im losing voltage they seem to stay dim longer now and i did notice when they are bright when i touch the brakes they dim down again and body got a suggestion what to check

and one more thing dont know if this is related but my bike has been starting up funny i really need to choke it or give it throttle to stay running for a bit or else it just cuts off and its not cold out its summer time warm out

You need to check voltage output from R/R. if it's going abd it could take your battery with it. More $$$

R/R is the weakest link in Honda electrical system. Mine went and took the stator and battery with it ... just melted stuff. Get a manual and run the diagnostics on your R/R and stator (a good multimeter is all you need). If you had a short then it would be dim until you smelled smoke or a fuse blew.
