head light problem please help
 

i just bought my first bike a 94 cbr 600f2 love it but heres my problem my bright light keeps blowing only when im riding the dim light works fine all the time but the bright light will blow only when im riding any help would be great thanks

if its just idling the bright light wil work fine but if i ride with it on it will blow

Sounds like while the bike is in motion, its touching something its not supposed to causing it to blow.

(negative touching positive) vise versa


because if its while idling and it works fine. then there shouldn't be aproblem

Try leaving the bike idle for about 10-15 minutes. see if it blows

ride up on down the street to see if it blows

All you'll get by leaving it idling for fifteen minutes is overheating. What do you mean by 'blow'? Have you checked that the bulb is seated properly? Try changing out the bulb first, otherwise you may have a short in the switchgear on the handlebar. Good used parts are plentiful:

yea im sure its blown iv taking it out and replaced it but the same thing will happen again i think i might have a power to ground short some where do yall know where i should star first as far as wirring

update low beam blew the other night left for a fun ride home in the country but checked volts at battery 13-14 on idle 17-19 at 5000 rpms
