Default Hand grips

Has anyone found a durable and comfortable replacement hand grip for their bike? I have a 1998 CBR 600 F3. The vibration and numbness are getting old.
Thanks

I have the same stock grips as you, and put about 500 miles a month on them, and don't realy have an issue with vibration or numbness. There's a very slight numbness after a good couple of hours, but its rare I ride that long straight. Is it possible yours are just worn, or the rubber has hardened over time, and you can do with just a plain old stock replacement?

Its not the grips that cause numbness, its the bar ends. Are yours stock?

Not that I recommend it but I've actually seen guys use dirtbike grips on their sportbikes.

There are hand grips out there with gel in them to help absurb some of the vibrations. Here are the ones I have on my F2 and they do a pretty good job.

Drowner is right though, if you still think it is a problem after trying new grips, then I'd try some heavier bar ends too.

Default Hand Grips

Thanks for the information guys. My bikes grips are probably original to the bike (1998) but I am not sure since I am the 3rd owner.
Has anyone tried the Kevlar grips from Renthal?

Another option, which has helped me greatly with numbness, are Stompgrip pads. With them on, your able to support yourself with the core of your body, rather than with your wrists. They also make you feel more connected to the bike; better control.

My throttle is a little sticky. Can a new grip possibly fix this? And it does not have any play in it. Should it?

I just bought a pair of Pro Grip Model 699 Gel Grips 22-25mm. When holding them up to the stock ones, their too long. Do these come in different lengths or am I supposed to trim them to fit?

They come in different lengths. You can't trim them, or you'll lose the rubber butt that matches up with the bar end.
