Default Gerbing Heat controller & gear

Last of my pieces for the Gerbing electric gear came in today. I ordered
a permanent-mount single controller and the T5 micro-wire gloves.
I already had the jacket-liner and socks.

Straight out to the garage and installed the controller. I wanted it somewhere
visible and easy to reach, so I drilled out the tripple-tree bar mount and
installed it there. Looks like a factory install, in fact DD (my wife) couldn't
figure out what I'd done, looking at it. Here's a picture, it's between the ignition and left fork cap. They even have a led wired to the controller, so you can tell when it's on.

I know it's kind of boring accessory to look at, but I'm pumped. Since 1979,
I've always just layered up and resigned myself to short runs, for the winter
fun. Now, it's how long I can keep my concentration and the limits of the gas-tank, defining the ride.

Ern

Congrats. Nice to have gear that keeps you comfortable during a ride. Good job on your install. Nothing like the KISS principle. :-)

Looks like your limits took you until 2:47 AM in the morning. I'd say they're working pretty well. Nice addition Ern.
