Gas level

Hey guys

Stupid question, but I need an answer anyways :icon_couchhide:

How do you tell when your tank is completely full? -_-

Obviously when looking at the pump you can see how much it's filling. But is there like.. A line on the inside of the tank or something?

When it will not hold anymore gas.......it is full.

But seriously do not believe their is a line or mark to look for when filling up to see if your tank is full. To get completely full you will need to stand the bike up straight while fueling which is a biatch.

Oh my god that never occurred to me :icon_doh:

I was wondering why I seem to run out of gas long before I think I should..
I probably short myself by a gallon every time I fill up. Lol.

There is a level recommended by Honda. And that is to the bottom of the filler tube.
Reason being that as the heat of the motor rises, it makes the petrol expand & can cause it to over low (siphoned away by the over fill tube) or to run down your tank when you prop it on your side stand.
