Anyone know how to get a gas cap lock cylinder out?

Unlock the gas cap and remove the screws on the back side to get to the cylinder.

Yea, i did that, that will release the aluminum body from the locking ring. I need to go further... I actually need to see the key code on the back (or Tank side) of the lock. (I need to have a key made)

I thought if you go to a lock smith he will use your vin code to cut a key. I saw someone do that when their keys were locked in the car. Who knows you might not have to tear the tank apart.

Yea, ok,.... I am a collection agent.

The bank will not let me drill the antitheft screws out of the ignetion switch to get the code off, to get a key made.

I picked the lock on the gas cap, took off the "locking ring", and now i am holding the cast aluminum piece. i need to get the lock cylinder out to get the key code to get a key made.

On the back of every Honda cylinder is the key code to have the key made...

has any one ever done this...
