Default Fuel milage?

OK I hate math.... I want to figure out how many Kms I can get on 5.47 Liters of gas? My bike (2003 CBR 954) has a 18 liter capacity tank and I filled up the other night and it took 12.53 liters. I got 210 Kms on 12.53 liters of gas. So can anyone figure this out?

210 km/12.53L = 16.76 km/L * 5.47 = 91.68 km.

to get a more accurate reading of your fuel consumption, fill up to the filler neck...ride until you need to fill up again...take down the mileage, then fill back to the filler neck and see how many liters it took.

ORIGINAL: Tahoe SC

210 km/12.53L = 16.76 km/L * 5.47 = 91.68 km.

So by your math I should be able to get 301Kms or 188 miles per tank if I burn it dry????? which I would never do.
I always fill up to the filler neck rim inside! Useally the fuel light comes on around 200kms/125 miles
301Kms or 188 miles per tank seem like a lot!
Whats everyone elses gas milage like?
By the way "Thanks Tahoe"

188 is about right for most of the unmodded bikes since range stems from mid 30s to mid 40s...but check this out...there's about a little less than a gallon of fuel that you can't use! it sits below the pump so it never gets sucked in!! so you shouldn't get that high since you can't run all the fuel.

that's why it's bad to run your tank until you stall out, cause this is also where the crap settles...

i get about 31miles per gallon...but i'm regeared and have a full system...and bike is almost at 40K miles...but she still runs hard!

I'm same as you arkas, I can only fill up about 12 litres or so after the low fuel blinker comes on. I get about 220km before I really need to fill up. 90-100 kms is about what I'd get on 5 litres.

I would never do this but I would like to run my bike dry and see exactly how many Kms I can actually get on a full tank.
