Front hanger bolts..
i realized my bike was missing the right and left front hanger bolts(engine mounts basically) when i took off the fairings to add my new frame sliders. Does anyone know the specs such as coil and width for the OEM right and left hanger bolts.. i need to get them replaced.

You don't say what model/year, that would help a lot. Chase this link back and you can look it up. Honda Kawasaki Polaris Suzuki Yamaha Motorcycles ATVS Scooters Utility Vehicles

Once you find what bolts they are, ACE hardware will probably have them in Grade 8 or 5...should be a LOT cheaper than OEM.

oh haha, its an 08 600rr... and yeah i went to Ace hardware today.. they didn't have the exact fit.. we found one that had the correct thread but it was wobbly, so he left me with the conclusion of figuring out the exact size.

Try ronayers.com. There is a parts fiche there, and once you find the bolts you're looking for in the diagram, if I'm not mistaken the actual size is listed in one of the fields after the part number

I have a question...why is an '08 CBR missing it's engine mount bolts? |

What do you mean by wobbly? If it was the correct thread size it shouldn't have wobbled in the hole at all. Do you mean the length? If so, then ya, they might not have it exactly.

I didnt notice until i was in the process of installing my no-cut frame sliders, which extend of the side of the engine mount bolts. Obviously the guy had frame sliders previously and i guess kept them (along with the mount bolts) for his next bike. |
