The 929 is the amount of cc of the bike and points as far as I know to the fireblade CBR 900RR from 2001. In 2002 and 2003 the engine became a 954cc.
However all parts of a 929 should be exchangeable. Even better: a lot of parts of the 954 can also be mounted on the 929. These two are very similar bikes.
The rear swingarm however is different and a lot of components in the electrical system too.
The front forks of the 929 are a bit different in service details (a 929 has a bit less oil in the forks than the 954) however the dimensions should be the same.
Therefore I am quite sure that if you are talking about two different 929 models the parts should fit.
