Default Frame # sticker (what to do?)

the frame vin sticker on my f4 is right smack dab centre on the left side just in front of my knee! i was gonna do a nice polish job (make it shiny cause its naked) but what can i do about the sticker ?
i dont see em in other peoples pictures, but cant it cause legal complications later if i take it off?
has any one run into this?
thanks all!

the VIN is stamped into the neck of the frame. Only issues not having it is in the event of resale as some ppl may think something happened to the bike.

I took mine off just cause it's ugly and I don't really plan on selling mine. If you take yours off carefully it may peel in one piece. If you're concerned you can put it in your owners Manual or somethin.

No legal implications whatsoever by removing that sticker. Its not like a stamped vin plate on an automobile. Many LEOs don't know this though. :\ As long as you can point to the VIN stamped in the frame, you're good to go.
